I’ve been following Robert Glenn Bennett’s case for some time now, and one thing that always puzzles me is the lack of physical evidence despite the alleged confession and conviction of John Alcantara. Even though witnesses claimed that Alcantara confessed to dismembering and disposing of Bennett's body at the Puente Hills Landfill, it seems odd that no remains or additional physical evidence were ever found, especially given the extensive searches conducted. I wonder if there’s more to the story that we’re missing, or if maybe there's evidence that wasn't disclosed during the trial. Does anyone else find it strange or have thoughts on why nothing substantial turned up after all these years?
