Has anyone looked into the possibility of this being a mistaken identity situation? It’s just so tragic what happened to Martez Avery—19 years old with so much ahead of him. The timing and location, late night on I-70 right after leaving a bar—it feels like there could have been some confusion or a possible altercation at the Big Easy Bar that mistakenly carried over to the highway. Maybe Martez or the car he was in resembled someone else’s? I hope his family finds peace and that someone with information will come forward. Columbus PD and the Ohio BCI seem dedicated to solving this, but they need that missing piece to the puzzle. If anyone else was there that night and saw anything, even if it seems minor, please reach out. Martez’s loved ones deserve answers, and every little detail might help. ?

Hey everyone, I was thinking about the Martez Avery case—such a devastating loss for his family and community. One thing that keeps coming to my mind is the location of the shooting on I-70. It's such a busy route, even late at night. Could it be possible that someone saw something but didn’t realize its significance at the time? I know it’s been years, but maybe someone who was on the road that night could remember seeing that black four-door vehicle or something unusual. Even the tiniest detail could help the authorities piece things together, right? If you or someone you know might have been around I-70 West near those early morning hours back in August 2005, consider reaching out to the police. It could really mean a lot to Martez’s loved ones. It’s just so sad that a family has to live without answers for so long. Hoping justice is served soon. Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone else been looking into the details surrounding the vehicle involved in Martez Avery's case? It's so unsettling to think how a black, four-door vehicle could just vanish without a trace, especially considering the bustling highways it's said to have been on. Are there any traffic cams on that stretch of I-70 from back in 2005 that might not have been thoroughly reviewed or newer technology that could revisit old footage? My heart goes out to Martez’s family – they deserve answers. It must be incredibly difficult for them to not only deal with the loss of a loved one but also the ongoing uncertainty. If anybody knows someone who might have been driving in the area at that time, please encourage them to come forward with any detail, no matter how small it may seem.
