I can’t stop thinking about Alan Chapman’s adventurous side and how it might have played into his disappearance. I mean, he was known for exploring off-the-beaten-path trails and hidden spots around Koloa. I’m curious if any of those places were investigated thoroughly or if there are spots that people didn’t even think to check back then. Living in Hawaii, I know there are countless areas that can be incredibly difficult to search, especially if someone was wandering off-trail. Does anyone have more insight into whether the search teams had access to aerial drones or any advanced tech back in the '80s to cover rough terrains? Or maybe local hikers who knew the area better? I feel like revisiting those adventurous locations could hold some answers. Thoughts?
