I was digging into the Robert Dale Casto case and noticed something that might be worth discussing. Has anyone ever looked into the blue 1979 Ford Pinto he was last seen driving? I know it might seem like a small detail, but considering it was a pretty distinctive vehicle at the time, there might be records or sightings that haven’t been explored yet. Was the car ever found, or do we know if the license plate 907AYJ showed up somewhere after his disappearance? Sometimes these small leads from old cold cases can pop up with a bit more digging, especially with new technologies and databases. Just a thought, but it could be worth revisiting!

Has anyone else noticed how many cases from the early '80s involve young men disappearing along with their vehicles, like Robert Dale Casto's case? It's always puzzled me. His blue 1979 Ford Pinto wagon is also missing, which seems like it should be a significant clue, but it's like it vanished into thin air. I wonder if cars like his Pinto might have been targeted by car theft rings back then, or if there was something unique about his vehicle that made it noteworthy to whoever might have taken him. It seems odd that such a distinctive car didn't turn up anywhere. Thoughts?
