I’ve been following the Mark Seifert case for years, and something that’s stuck with me is the lack of closure due to his remains never being found. Even with William’s conviction, I can’t help but think about how difficult it must be for the Seifert family. There’s a level of finality that comes from being able to lay someone to rest, and without that, it seems like a piece is forever missing. This has to add another layer to the family’s grief, knowing Mark's body is still out there somewhere. It's unsettling to think about how many other cases might be considered "resolved" legally but remain an open wound emotionally. Does anyone know if the family has pushed for ongoing searches, or are they still hoping for new technology or methods to someday recover his remains?

Has anyone here ever looked into why Mark Seifert’s body was never found, despite the conviction of his brother William for the murder? I find it really puzzling that with all the evidence and the focus of investigators, they never managed to recover his remains. It just makes me wonder if there might be more to the story. Could it be that William had help, or there’s something about the location that’s making it difficult to find him? I’d love to hear if anyone has theories or knows more about the investigative challenges they faced. I've heard stories of similar cases where they eventually found the remains years later; what might have been overlooked here?
