I recently became aware of the unsolved murder of Darrell Achoe from 2005, and it's deeply unsettling to think that his family has waited so long for answers. I was curious about the community's reaction after his death. It happened at 1308 Race Street, and I read that the neighborhood was in shock at the time. Does anyone know if there were any community meetings or outreach efforts to try and gather more information back then? It's baffling that there haven't been any significant leads. Given how tight-knit some neighborhoods can be, especially when something so violent occurs, you would think someone might have seen or heard something. It would be great if anyone with information, no matter how small, came forward. Cases like this need all the community support they can get. My heart goes out to Darrell's family, and I hope they find the closure they deserve.
