I've been reading up on the case of Michel Paul and Pierre Petit from 1985, and something that's been on my mind is the weather conditions on Lake Champlain at the time they went missing. I couldn't find much detail in the official reports about the weather that day. Does anyone here have local knowledge or maybe some historical weather data from that time? I'm curious whether a sudden storm or unusual weather patterns could have contributed to the accident. It's strange how only one body was recovered, and understanding the conditions could shed some light on what happened that day. Any insights would be appreciated!
