Hey everyone, I've been digging through some old case files, and David Eugene Seelke's disappearance caught my eye. One thing that stood out to me was the fact that he might have had amnesia when he went missing. I've been reading about cases where people wander off and start new lives without any memory of their past. Given that Seelke had these burn scars on his arms and a noticeable scar on his leg, do you think someone might have recognized him but didn't come forward thinking he was just another person with a rough past? It's crazy to think about how many people could be out there living under different circumstances without knowing their true identity. Wonder if any hospitals or shelters in neighboring states encountered someone fitting his description back then? Thoughts?

Hi this is my cousin. I was wanting to try and look into this in more detail. I believe that is a possibility after speaking to my grandmother about the case. No unidentified remains were found either.
