Has anyone looked into the possibility of public transport sightings for Santos Andrade? Given that he was seen last in East LA and was expected home for dinner, maybe he took a bus or train that day. It's always been curious to me why there wasn't more follow-up on any potential sightings on local transit logs from back then, especially if he didn't have a car at the time. I wonder if the LA Sheriff's Department ever explored that angle thoroughly. Maybe someone might remember something if they traveled the same route regularly. It's been over 30 years, and sadly, details fade, but you'd be surprised how a routine might jog someone's memory. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, I've been digging through some old cases and found Santos Andrade’s disappearance from East LA in '88 quite puzzling. What intrigues me is the complete absence of any distinguishing marks or records that could help ID him. It seems like such a major roadblock for investigators. It got me thinking, how often does a lack of identification records hinder missing persons cases, especially from that era? Would love to hear if anyone has come across similar cases where this was a significant issue. Let's hope we can keep Santos' story alive and maybe bring some new attention to his case.
I recently came across the case of Santos Andrade while doing some reading, and I'm curious about something that's been puzzling me. Santos was last seen in East Los Angeles wearing a pretty specific outfit: a white striped shirt, brown pants, and a brown jacket. Does anyone find it odd that there's such a detailed description of his clothing from the day he went missing, yet there's so little else known about what he was doing or who he was with? In so many cases, clothing details seem to be one of the first things to fade from memory, especially after so many years. I'm wondering if maybe there's something about that outfit that should have drawn more attention at the time. Maybe someone saw him, and they didn’t realize the significance because it was just an ordinary outfit? What do others think about the role that clothing details can play in cold cases like this? It just feels like such a specific piece of information should have been a bigger part of solving what happened to him.
