Has anyone else been following the William Vernal Bunch case from 1990? I recently came across some old articles about his disappearance after the boating accident on Castaic Lake. It got me thinking about how currents and water conditions can affect search efforts. I’ve read that bodies can sometimes get trapped in underwater debris or travel miles away from the original site, making recovery incredibly difficult. I wonder if that's what happened here. It’s frustrating that after all these years, there's still no closure for his family. Does anyone know if there have been any recent advancements in sonar or search technology that might give hope for cold cases like this?
