Just stumbled upon Michael Grochowsky's missing person case from 1991, and something that really stands out to me is the timing with his workers' comp settlement. I wonder if the negotiation process could have been a factor in his disappearance. It seems odd that someone so consistent with their therapy and medical appointments would just vanish out of the blue, especially during such a critical time dealing with work compensation. Did he mention anything unusual about the settlement process to anyone? Any conflicts or disagreements that could suggest someone might have had a motive? It's frustrating how few leads have emerged, given there must be documentation and people involved with the settlement. Hoping investigators revisit this angle and maybe even reach out to those involved back then for anything they might have missed. Any thoughts?
