Has anyone dug into the environmentalist angle of Gregory's life more closely? I find it curious how he was so passionate about outdoor activities like hiking and backpacking. Could he have gone somewhere he felt a deep connection to in nature? Perhaps there's a spot he loved that wasn't commonly known to his friends or family. Sometimes people retreat to nature to clear their minds or find peace. I wonder if any lesser-known trails or secluded areas in California could be related. Were there any search efforts focused on those areas? His love for the outdoors seems like a key aspect that might offer some clues. What do you all think?
