I’ve been following Michael Turay Smith's case for a while and something that keeps sticking out to me is the location of the shooting. The Certified Gas Station on South Pine Street is quite busy, even at night. It seems hard to believe that nobody saw anything that could help the investigation along. I can’t stop thinking about the impact on his family, knowing there were people around who might hold the key to identifying the shooter. If you were there or know someone who was, please, please say something. It could make all the difference for the Smith family and finally bring them some peace. Sometimes even the smallest detail can be the missing piece of the puzzle for the police. Let’s not let Michael’s story fade into the background. He deserves justice.
