I was just reading through old newspaper archives, and it's intriguing how Tony Choate's case was a such major topic in Bonnieville back in the early '90s. Everyone seems to have known him or about his disappearance. I came across some local opinion pieces suggesting he might have planned to leave town for a bit. They said he was acting a bit distant before he vanished. It got me thinking, what if he decided to take off on his own, but something went wrong along the way? People sometimes do things that seem out of character when they're stressed. I wonder how much the investigators looked into his state of mind or if they found any signs indicating plans to travel. It would be interesting to see if any more personal details emerged over time, showing he might have been planning a move or dealing with something privately. Anyone else find more info on that aspect?
