Does anyone else find it puzzling that Rose Eaton's purse was missing, but the family dog was left behind in the car? It's as if someone intentionally took her but didn't want to deal with the dog. Seems odd that she might've just wandered off and someone happened to take her purse, leaving the dog. Could it suggest she knew the person who possibly picked her up? Would love to hear what others think about this detail.
Hey all, has anyone else noticed the detail about Rose's dog being left behind in the car? It's been bugging me. Dogs are usually so protective and can tie us to familiar places, even if someone's memory is shaky. This could mean she left the car willingly, thinking she'd be right back, or maybe the dog was just really calm or asleep. But if Rose had been confused, wouldn’t she have taken the dog with her for comfort? It’s such a curious part of her story that we haven’t focused on much. Maybe there's a clue in the dog's behavior or relationship with Rose that we're missing? Thoughts?
