I’ve been following Susan Walsh’s case for some time now, and I find the part about her digging into the vampire subculture quite intriguing. It isn't uncommon for journalists to immerse themselves in their stories, but I'm curious about what she might have uncovered during her research into this group. That scene in NYC during the '90s was pretty underground and secretive, from what I’ve read. Does anyone know more about the kind of interactions she had with these people? Could it have been riskier than we've realized? I’m wondering if those connections were ever thoroughly investigated, or if they were brushed aside because of more prominent theories. Just trying to piece together potential overlooked angles here.
