Has anyone looked into the specific model of Tate's 1988 Eagle Premier? I did some digging and found that the car had some known mechanical issues, especially with the transmission and electrical system. If Tate was really upset and just wanted to get away for a bit, it's possible he broke down somewhere remote, and that's why nobody has found him or the car. I know it might be a shot in the dark, but it’s worth considering if there were any reports of abandoned vehicles matching that description around that time. It's frustrating how little information there is after all these years.
