Did anyone else find it strange that Franklin's Detroit Lions coat was found in a cornfield, separate from the other items? It's such a random location, and not anywhere near where his car or bags were found. How did it end up there, of all places? If it was just lost property or something left behind without a second thought, why wasn't it closer to the other spots? It makes me think someone else might have placed it there intentionally. Maybe someone knows something or saw something at that cornfield? I wonder if there were ever any searches or surveillance in that area around the time the coat was discovered. There’s got to be a reason for it being there. Anyone from Mason or nearby remember anything strange around that time?
I can't stop thinking about the random discovery of Franklin's Detroit Lions coat in that cornfield. It's puzzling because it's such a distinctive item, and if someone was involved in foul play, why leave it there? Was it meant to throw people off, or did it fall accidentally? I also wonder whether it has been examined for any forensic evidence that could give us more clues. Given that the area is pretty rural, someone might have intentionally wanted it to be found or to divert attention from another location. Any locals here familiar with the area have thoughts on how out of place the coat seemed? Could it connect to someone who knows the terrain well? This case is maddeningly full of loose ends.
Has anyone else noticed the odd location where Franklin Gottschalk's Detroit Lions coat was found? A cornfield near Mason just seems so random and quite a distance from where his car was abandoned in Lansing. It makes me wonder if he traveled or was taken quite a distance from the initial spot. What's puzzling is why whoever discarded the coat left it there. Was it meant to be found, or did it have some other meaning? If anyone is familiar with that area, I'd be curious to hear if it's a place where people frequently go or if there's something about it that might provide more context. The strangeness of these locations keeps sticking out to me, and it could hold some clue to unraveling what happened to him. Thoughts?
