I’ve been following Fern’s case since I first heard about it, and I just can’t stop thinking about how much his family must be struggling without any closure. We can’t begin to imagine their pain. I read somewhere that Tonya, his mom, has been especially active in pushing for any lead that might crack this case open. It’s hard to fathom how you find the strength to do that when dealing with such an immense loss. I always wonder, with cases like Juan's, where exactly the investigation might be stuck. Is it a lack of witnesses coming forward, or could there be evidence that's missing or was overlooked? The Columbus Police and the BCI seem dedicated to keeping these unsolved cases in the public eye, but I hope more people will remember Fern and come forward if they know anything, no matter how small it seems. Every bit of information could be crucial. It’s also a reminder of the importance of community support in dark times like these. I hope the people in Columbus and those who know the family continue to rally around them and offer whatever support they can. We owe it to Juan and his loved ones to keep talking about this case until they find some measure of justice.
