I've been thinking deeply about the implications of Corey's tragic death on his children, especially his twins who were directly involved. It's chilling to imagine the trauma they experienced that night and how it must continue to affect them to this day. Losing a parent is devastating enough, but to witness such a horrifying moment at such a young age is indescribable.
I can't help but think about the emotional and psychological support they must need. Does anyone know if Corey's family or local community set up any resources or funds for the children’s mental health support? In situations like these, it's crucial they have access to therapy or counseling to help them navigate their grief and fear. If anyone has more info on that or ways the community can assist, it would be great to know so we can spread the word.

Has anyone here ever thought about how incredibly brave Corey's twins must be? The fact that one of them was injured during the attack and still has to navigate life without their dad is truly unimaginable. From reading about this case, I can't help but wonder how the lack of proper witness testimonies might have affected the course of justice for Corey. It’s frustrating to know that the twins weren't allowed to testify in front of the grand jury back then. Their firsthand experiences could have been so valuable to the investigation. It's deeply unfair that they had to witness such violence, and on top of that, still live in a city where justice for their dad feels like it's just out of reach. My heart goes out to them and anyone else who loved Corey. Let's hope more people with knowledge come forward so this family can finally find some peace.
