Has anyone else found it strange how Derek Anderson ended up changing his name from Andrew Krnak? I've been following the Krnak family case, and this detail keeps sticking out to me. Was it ever explained why he chose that new name, and could it have any significance? Seems like it could be a key piece of his attempted identity change or distancing from his family. Also curious if this name change happened before or after the family vanished. It makes me wonder if he was trying to start over or hide something even before things went south. If anyone has more insight into this particular point, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hey everyone, I came across something interesting about the Krnak case today. Did you guys know that there were unconfirmed sightings of Thomas in a small town near Asheville, NC, not long after his dad's body was found? Some locals reportedly saw a young man matching his description working odd jobs and living out of a cheap motel around that time. I wonder if there's any truth to it or just a case of mistaken identity. It just makes me think about how many layers there are to this case and why it's still unresolved after all these years. Anyone else heard about these sightings or have thoughts on them?

Has anyone else been puzzling over the change in Derek Anderson's identity? I mean, switching from Andrew Krnak to Derek seems significant, and I'm curious if it had something to do with distancing himself from his past or something else entirely. In cases like this, where family dynamics are so central, identity shifts can be telling. Also, with all the gaps in this case, there might be something in the reasons behind the name change that connects to the bigger picture. Would love to hear what you all think about this aspect of the case!
