Has anyone else come across anything unusual about Miguel, the neighbor Jose Barroso left behind? I know neighbors often don't want to talk, but from what I read, Miguel was one of the last people to see Jose on the day he disappeared. It's mentioned somewhere that they spoke right before Jose walked away from his home that day. Miguel didn't see where Jose was heading, though. I wonder if there’s something specific about that conversation that might help us understand what happened next. Not suggesting Miguel's involved, but maybe he knows something without even realizing it?
If anyone has any snippets about Miguel's statement or any interactions the two had, please add it here. Sometimes the smallest detail can prompt a new line of questioning or even a fresh set of eyes on the case. We need to keep Jose’s story alive, especially with so little information available about what might've happened that day back in 1998.
I’ve been following the case of Jose Barroso, who went missing from Miami in '98, and something that’s always struck me as odd is the lack of witnesses. Given the time of day and the neighborhood he disappeared from, you’d think someone would have seen something. It’s a pretty populous area, and he just vanished without a trace. Has anyone looked into whether there were any nearby construction projects or transient activities that day? Sometimes workers or temporary setups see things that the locals don’t. Just seems like there must have been someone around who caught a glimpse of something off. Thoughts?
