Hey everyone,
I've been diving deep into Richard "Lil Rich" Owen Smith's case lately, and something that's been bugging me is the time of day when the shooting happened. It was early evening on January 17, 2011—so many people would have been out and about in Columbus at that time. It seems like there would've been potential witnesses around, or at least someone who might've seen or heard something suspicious.
Could there have been surveillance cameras nearby that might've captured something useful? I hope the police have already looked into this, but with the advancements in technology since 2011, maybe reviewing old footage again might provide new insights.
My heart goes out to Richard’s family and friends. It must be incredibly difficult not to have answers after all this time. If anyone in the Columbus area remembers anything odd from that evening, please consider sharing it with the authorities. Every bit of information could be crucial.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the circumstances around Richard Owen Smith’s murder, specifically the lack of any solid leads despite it being more than a decade later. It makes me wonder about the community involvement at the time and if there were any significant outreach efforts made towards people who might have recognized him or were in the area that night. We all know how crucial those early hours and days are in an investigation, and I just feel for his family who still doesn’t have answers. It’s discouraging to hear about families and friends left to grapple with the unknown for so long. I just hope that as time goes on, someone might finally share a piece of the puzzle, no matter how small it seems, that could help close this case. Maybe there are advancements in technology or new eyes on the case that might uncover something. My heart goes out to Smith's loved ones, and I sincerely wish for progress in the investigation.
