I've been following the Michael Johnson case closely for a while now, and I find myself thinking about the challenges his family must have faced during those long seven years before an arrest was made. It’s hard to imagine waking up every day with no answers and just hoping for some sort of break in the case. It makes me really appreciate the persistence and dedication of the Cincinnati Police Department's homicide unit for finally making an arrest in 2018.
But I still wonder… what was it that finally led them to arrest Treymane Watson Jr.? Was it new evidence, or did someone finally come forward with information? Cases like this often depend so much on community involvement. If any of you have thoughts or additional information, I’d love to hear your perspective. It's important that we keep discussing and spreading awareness so that Michael and others like him aren't forgotten.

Have any of you dug into the background of Treymane Watson Jr.? It’s baffling how it took seven years to make an arrest. I can't help but feel for Michael Johnson's family during those years of uncertainty and grief. It makes me wonder if there were any other potential suspects or leads that didn't pan out. It just seems like something was missing for it to go cold for so long. If anyone has looked into the housing or employment records from that area during 2011–2018, it might be interesting to see if there were significant shifts or if anyone else connected to the neighborhood at that time could have information.
