Has anyone heard anything about the surveillance footage from the area around Rice Street when Evan was shot? It's been a while now, and I'm surprised there hasn't been more news about it. The fact that it happened around 8:30 p.m. means it couldn’t have been completely deserted, right? You'd think there'd be more witnesses or cameras that caught something. It must be so difficult for Evan's family to not have the closure they desperately need. I can't imagine the frustration they're feeling not having any answers. If anyone has any updates or insights, please share. We all want to see justice for Evan and his loved ones.
I can’t stop thinking about what Evan McCray’s family must be going through, especially without any breakthroughs in the case over the years. It’s been so long, and the lack of answers has to be incredibly difficult. I read somewhere that Crimestoppers has upped the reward, which seems hopeful. However, it’s frustrating that after all this time, there's still no suspect info. It's like Evan’s story has hit a wall. I really wonder if the witness who flagged down the officer had any other info that could have helped. Was there something they saw or heard that didn’t make it into the reports? Such a senseless act, and I hope that someday soon, the right person comes forward with the key piece of the puzzle. Evan deserves that dignity, and his family deserves peace.
I've been following Evan McCray's case for a while now, and something that's been really bothering me is the lack of witness information. It's not like this happened in a deserted area; Rice Street is quite populated. How could there be no credible witnesses or even small leads after all these years? I feel for Evan's family so much—they're out there day after day, waiting for any crumb of information to find justice for their loved one. It’s frustrating and tragic that despite the community and law enforcement’s efforts, everything just seems to hit a dead end. If someone knows anything, even the tiniest detail, they need to come forward. Evan deserves justice, and his family deserves closure.
