There were reports that James was an avid boater and frequently went out to sea alone. I'm wondering if anyone has delved into the possibility that something could have happened to him while he was out on the water? Were there any sightings or reports of his boat around the time he disappeared? It's frustrating that there's so little information available, but maybe someone with local knowledge or a boating background might have insights or remember something that could help. Has anyone else come across the bit about James Skelton visiting several local community centers in Daytona Beach before he went missing? I read somewhere that he was quite involved in volunteering and helping out at these places. I can’t help but wonder if someone he came across during these activities might know something. Given how long it's been, you’d think there might be someone who saw or overheard something relevant. Maybe someone who volunteered alongside him or even just attended the events he helped with could hold a clue without even realizing it. Anyone have thoughts on this angle?
