Does anyone else find it strange that Kevin tried to borrow his *son's* truck from a dealership? Why would the truck be at a dealership in the first place—was it being repaired or serviced? And if he couldn't borrow it, what was his plan B? The thought that he was spotted getting into a semi-truck is a bit unsettling. Was he hitchhiking to go somewhere specific, or was it an impulsive decision? Considering his recent stay at a rehab facility, it's possible he needed a fresh start or was trying to escape a stressful situation.
The fact that he was last seen in such identifiable clothing—University of Michigan sweatpants and possibly a Ted Nugent or Star Wars t-shirt—makes me wonder if the sighting at the gas station could provide more details. Did the semi-truck driver ever come forward? It's sad how quickly someone can disappear without a trace, especially in cases where there should be a clear trail. I hope more people come forward, even after all these years.
Has anyone else thought about the significance of Kevin trying to borrow his son's truck right before he vanished? It seems pretty important to understand why he needed the truck that day. Did he have plans to go somewhere, or was he trying to leave town quickly? Considering his history of prescription drug abuse, maybe he was in a desperate situation and didn't have any other means of transportation. It's curious that his journey led him to a gas station where he was last spotted getting into a semi-truck. Could there have been a connection, or was this a last-minute decision? It’d be interesting to know if the truck driver was ever tracked down or questioned. Sometimes it's these small details that can lead to breakthroughs in unsolved cases. Thoughts?
I've been following Kevin's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the sighting at the Sunoco gas station. The fact that the clerk saw him getting into a semi-truck seems like such an important lead, yet it hasn't gone anywhere. Does anyone know if the truck or driver was ever identified or questioned? It feels like potentially connecting with anyone who might've been driving that route regularly might yield something. I know truck drivers often have tight schedules, but it seems worth a shot to see if any remember seeing Kevin or have heard anything from fellow drivers. It's frustrating to think how small details like these can sometimes fade away without resolution. Hoping for any updates or theories anyone might have!
