Have any of you heard about the sightings reported around the Financial District in early January 2002, right after Fatih Algul disappeared? A friend mentioned that there were a couple of unconfirmed reports of a man matching his description seen wandering around Battery Park, looking disoriented. It's baffling that this hasn't been discussed more. It's like he just vanished into thin air after getting off at Wall Street. Even though these sightings weren't verified, I can’t help but wonder if he was trying to stay in the area for some reason. Anyone else think the proximity to Wall Street hints at something? It just feels like an odd place to exit without a plan.
Hey everyone, I’m new here but wanted to join the discussion about Fatih Algul. I’ve been diving into articles and posts, and something that intrigues me is the location where he exited the train—Wall Street station. It just seems so random. Did he have any known connections in that area? Could it have just been that he was in a confused state and left the train without purpose, or is it possible it was a planned exit? I read somewhere that people sometimes gravitate towards familiar places during disoriented states. Maybe he had been around there before, even if not officially known by friends or family. Just curious if anyone else has looked into Fatih’s connections in that part of town or considered how his mental health struggles might have led him to that particular station. Thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
Just stumbled upon the case of Fatih Algul and something struck me about the witnesses who saw him in that "trance-like state" on the subway. It seems unusual for a well-functioning manager like Fatih to be that out of it, even considering his struggles with depression. Could this be indicative of something more than just mental health issues? Perhaps something happened that made him enter such a state, or maybe he was under duress or even drugged? I know it's a long shot, but the timing and manner of his behavior seem significant. Has anyone heard of something similar in other cases? Or maybe someone saw something else at the Wall Street station that night? Just trying to connect the dots here!
