What puzzles me about Lourdes Contreras' case is the timeline between when she was last seen and when she was reported missing. It's almost two months! I can't help but wonder if there were any other sightings or contact with her during that time. Did any neighbors on North Avenue notice anything unusual, or did any friends speak to her after early August? It seems odd that no one caught onto her absence sooner. Also, there’s the Target parking lot where her truck was found. Was there any surveillance footage available from that period? In 2002, I imagine the quality wouldn’t be great, but any bit of info could be crucial. It feels like there’s a lot of missing pieces still out there.

It's puzzling that no signs of foul play were found in or around the vehicle. Was the truck parked there to divert attention, or could it have been a drop-off point? It's also interesting how the truck wasn't reported stolen or disturbed for that long, which just seems so strange. Maybe locals who frequent that area could recall anything unusual from back then?
