Does anyone else find the lack of digital footprint in John Martin Plourde's case odd? It was 2003, so social media wasn't what it is today, but emails, cell phone records, anything like that should have left some trail, right? I mean, even for someone going off the grid, it seems strange. I know investigators probably looked into this, but it seems like there should have been more to dig up. I just can't shake the feeling that something might have been overlooked regarding his digital life. What do you all think?
Has anyone ever looked into the locations of cell towers near John's office from January 2003? I remember reading some cold case discussions about missing persons where examining the historical data from cell towers was useful in spotting where someone last had phone activity. Even though it might be a long shot due to how technology was back then, I wonder if there’s any way to check if John made any calls that day and triangulate his last known location. It's been so long, but with how technology has improved, maybe there’s a way to bring old data into the new tech landscape. Just a thought.
