Has anyone else looked into the area where Noriega-Verdugo was last known to spend time? The desert near Drexel Road and Nogales Highway seems like a vast and challenging place to search, especially with the time gap since he was last seen. Could he have had any connections in that area aside from his friends? It's odd that his family waited so long to report him missing. I wonder if there were family dynamics or external circumstances that influenced the delay. Maybe someone with local knowledge or familiarity with that scene might provide more insight. Keep hoping that someone remembers something!

I’ve been digging into the case of Noriega-Verdugo and something that intrigues me is why his family waited so long to report him missing. Seven months is a significant delay. I’m not placing any blame on them, but it does make me wonder about the circumstances surrounding his relationships and daily life before he disappeared. Could it be possible they thought he had gone somewhere voluntarily due to previous patterns of behavior? Understanding why there was a delay might give us more context about his life and mindsets at that time. Has anyone heard if there’s been any commentary from those who frequented the Drexel Road and Nogales Highway area around February 2004? He seemed to have been a regular there.
