I've been thinking a lot about John Andrew Brown's case lately, especially since it's been almost two decades with so few answers. What stands out to me is how he went missing just before the holiday season, which must make it even harder for his family each year. Since his case was included in NamUs seven years after he disappeared, I'm curious if any specific events led to this inclusion or if it was just an effort to renew interest in the case. It makes me wonder how often cases get added to NamUs long after the initial disappearance and if this leads to any breakthroughs. Does anyone know if there have been similar situations with other missing persons cases? It just seems like such a significant move and I hope it might still bring about something positive for John's family.

Has anyone ever heard more details about what John Brown was doing in Walker, Minnesota, on the day he disappeared? I've tried digging into this case, and it's surprising how little info there is about his last known activities or who he might have been with. Was he meeting someone, or was it just a normal day for him? I can't help but wonder if there's some small detail out there that could spark new interest or leads. It’s been nearly two decades, but it feels like there has to be something more that we’re missing or that hasn’t been shared publicly. Anyone have any theories based on similar cases?

Has anyone else noticed how often missing persons cases like John Andrew Brown's slip through the cracks until years later? It's perplexing and frustrating. He went missing in 2004, and yet his case didn't even make it to NamUs until 2011. I can’t help but wonder if more immediate inclusion in databases like NamUs could help garner attention and maybe even bring about some tips early on. Also, is there any reason why there seems to be such a lag with some cases? It's baffling and makes me think about how many other cases could have more eyes on them if they were publicized right away. Thoughts on how we could ensure this process is more efficient?
