Has anyone else been following the mysterious disappearance of David Scott Keller and his two friends from 2005? I’ve been digging into this case, and something that baffles me is why there’s never been any trace of their yellow Labrador Retriever. You’d think if anyone had seen the dog, it might have been a clue pointing to what happened to them. It makes me wonder if the dog went down with the ship or managed to swim to shore somewhere undetected. I'm hoping someone somewhere might recall seeing a dog like theirs around that time. It’s just such a strange piece of this puzzle that seems overlooked. Anyone have any theories or similar cases in mind?

I recently started looking into the mysterious disappearance of David Scott Keller and his friends during their fishing trip back in April 2005. One thing that strikes me as odd is the abandoned capsized boat found in the Gulf of Mexico — it seems strange that no one has found any concrete clues given the vast search efforts that must have been initiated after the disappearance. Do any boating experts around here think there’s a chance the boat could have drifted a significant distance from where the supposed collision occurred? Also, I wonder if the yellow Labrador could have swum back to shore since dogs have surprisingly strong endurance in the water. It's just puzzling how nothing more has turned up after all these years. Would love to hear theories or insights from anyone familiar with maritime search and rescue.

Has anyone else been wondering if there's more to the David Scott Keller case than meets the eye? I understand the official line is that their boat might have hit something and capsized, but I find it odd that no other debris aside from a seat cushion and some life jackets were found. Boats usually have all sorts of stuff that should have been floating around, right? I'm not suggesting it was anything nefarious, but maybe there are other factors investigators haven’t considered yet. Has anyone followed up on whether there were other boats in the area that could have seen something or whether the waters were particularly rough at the time? Also, any updates on whether they ever recovered the life jackets to check for any signs of damage or wear from the sea? With cases like this, even the smallest details might shed new light.
