Was anyone else struck by the discovery of Sellars' flip-flops and wallet onboard his abandoned boat? It just seems strange that those items would be left behind if he had any intention of leaving the boat willingly, even if accidentally falling overboard. I wonder if the flip-flops were just too impractical for the fishing trip or if there’s a more ominous explanation. Also, given his history of over-medicating, it’s possible that confusion or dizziness might have played a role. Has there been any discussion on what kind of medication he was taking and how it might have specifically affected him? There are so many angles to consider with cases like this, and it's just unsettling to think that we might not ever know what actually happened to him.

Anyone have thoughts on why James Wayne Sellars’ flip-flops were still on the boat? I find it really strange. If he accidentally fell overboard, wouldn’t he be more likely to be wearing them while moving around the deck? Or is it common to go barefoot on a fishing boat? Maybe the flip-flops being there doesn’t mean much, but it feels like a clue to me. Could it suggest he was sitting or resting before something happened? Also, with his history of over-medicating, could he have removed them and then lost balance if he wasn't feeling well? It's one more piece of this puzzle that just doesn't add up for me. Any other theories?
