I’ve been following the Rodney Frost case for some time, and one thing that puzzles me is the suspect’s decision to plead no contest to involuntary manslaughter after the mistrial. Given the circumstances—shooting Rodney as he approached his apartment, and the fact that the suspect was reportedly lurking for hours—it doesn’t seem accidental at all. I can’t imagine how Rodney’s family must’ve felt agreeing to that deal, knowing it meant less time served for the one responsible. I wonder if they felt pressured due to a lack of concrete evidence, or perhaps they were trying to avoid the uncertainty of a second trial. My heart goes out to them and to Rodney’s girlfriend and child, who will carry those memories with them forever. Maybe there's more to the plea deal than the public knows?
I've been following Rodney Frost's case closely and wanted to bring up something about the scene on Valerie Arms Drive that's been bugging me. I've read several accounts that mention a person in dark clothing spotted around the area before the shooting, and I keep wondering, did anyone else witness this person enough to give a detailed description? It seems crucial for narrowing down a suspect or even confirming whether Brandon Moxley was involved from the beginning, despite the later plea deal.
The time this mystery person spent lurking could point to premeditation, or even suggest someone was sending a message. It's chilling to think that they might have been ready to do this for hours. For Rodney's loved ones, I hope the investigation - despite its twists and turns - brings some measure of peace. What does everyone else think about the eyewitness accounts? Could these details have played a bigger role, or was it more about piecing together multiple angles given Rodney's prior history?
