I was re-reading about Judy Casida's disappearance, and something caught my attention. The fact that her pickup truck was found near the Pumpernickel Valley exit off Interstate 80 really makes me wonder about that specific location. What is it about that spot? Considering the case of Patrick Carnes disappearing in the same area about five years later, it seems too much of a coincidence, even if authorities say there's no connection. Has anyone looked into any other incidents near there during those years? Maybe it's just a popular area for abandoning vehicles, but it feels like there might be more to it. For Judy to drive all the way from Reno to that particular spot is perplexing. Thoughts on why she might have ended up there?

Has anyone else noticed the strange coincidence with the location where Judy Casida's truck was found? It's eerily the same area where Patrick Carnes went missing five years later. I've been looking into both cases, and while there's officially no evidence connecting them, it's hard not to wonder if there's something more to it. Pumpernickel Valley isn't exactly a bustling area, so it's odd that two disappearances happened so close together. Is there anyone familiar with that stretch of I-80 who might have insight into whether it's a known trouble spot or if there's anything else peculiar about it? Perhaps someone local has noticed patterns that investigators might have overlooked.
