Has anyone else been struck by the timing of Kristin's mom reporting her missing? It seems unusual that it took almost two months. I understand that sometimes family dynamics can be complicated, but it still seems like such a long time before contacting the authorities. I'm thinking about how her struggle with mental health and substance abuse may have played into her mom's decision. Maybe she thought Kristin was just taking some time to herself or trying to work things out on her own? Also, considering Kristin’s history and her mom's suspicions about the boyfriend, I wonder if there was any fear of retaliation or other personal reasons delaying the report. Would love to hear if anyone else has insight or theories on this aspect of the case.

I've been looking into Kristin Leonetti's case, and something that stands out to me is the timeline around when she disappeared. Her mom didn't report her missing until almost two months later. I find this really puzzling—why such a long delay? I totally understand families might wait a bit if they think their loved one has just taken off for a short time, especially in cases involving addiction, but almost two months seems way longer than usual. Could it be that her family still believed she might come back on her own because of her past patterns, or was there something else going on? Also, does anyone know if the authorities ever mentioned if they tracked the cab that her boyfriend supposedly sent her home in? It might have been too late to check by the time she was reported missing. Either way, it's frustrating to think that these critical days were lost at the beginning of her case. Hoping for any updates or additional insights from those familiar with her story!
