Hey everyone, diving into the mystery of Herbert Leroy Allen's disappearance and something's been nagging at me. What about that note found in his home that suggests he went on a trip? Does anyone have more insight into whether the handwriting was ever analyzed to confirm if Herbert actually wrote it? I know it's been years, but could that note have been planted to steer the investigation away from foul play? Handwriting analysis could provide significant clues. It's troubling that such a vital piece of evidence still leaves more questions than answers. Would love to hear what you all think about this angle!

Does anyone else find it strange that Herbert Allen’s van was discovered all the way in Tucumcari, New Mexico? That's over 1,200 miles from Cleveland! I’m trying to wrap my head around why it ended up there of all places. It seems like quite a trek if he really was just going on a trip, and even stranger that it was with a .22 caliber rifle and bloodstains inside. I’m curious if anyone knows whether Allen had any connections in New Mexico—or if that was just a random pit stop for Terry Chase White. It's also been lingering in my mind: what was White planning to do with Allen's credit cards? If anyone's got theories about why White chose that route or if anything significant happened in Tucumcari that’s somehow connected to Allen, I'd love to hear them. The whole situation just feels off to me and definitely worth digging into further.
