Hey everyone, I wanted to bring some attention back to Prathima and Monish Venkatesan’s case. I’ve been thinking about how difficult it must be for investigators dealing with international abduction cases like this one. The fact that Renukadevi might have taken the kids to India really complicates matters, especially with all the legal and jurisdictional hurdles.
Does anyone have insight into how international cases like these are handled? I wonder if there’s any cooperation with Indian authorities or if it's mostly private investigators trying to track them down. I feel like it's a huge task since over the years there might have been changes in appearance, and language barriers could play a role too.
If you've come across any similar cases or have knowledge about how international leads are pursued effectively, I'd love to hear your thoughts. It seems like such a daunting process and any info might be helpful in understanding the current state of this investigation.
Has anyone else noticed how little coverage there’s been on the case of Prathima and Monish Venkatesan? It's so frustrating! These little ones were taken 16 years ago, and it seems like the trail went cold once it was suspected they left for India. I understand that a family abduction might not get the same attention as other types, but these are two kids whose lives were completely disrupted and possibly in danger. I wonder if the focus has been just too local, considering the potential international aspect of it. There must be ways to push this into the limelight somehow, maybe contacting organizations that handle international abductions? Has anyone tried reaching out for more support or visibility?
