Has anyone looked into the area David was last reportedly seen in Costa Rica? I've been digging into it a bit, and it's known for being a major hub for tourists but also has some sketchy spots, especially if you're unfamiliar with the local scene. I read somewhere that there were a couple of missing person cases around the same time in that area. Could there be a connection? It's interesting that he started a relationship down there—makes you wonder if he got involved with the wrong crowd or if it was just bad timing. Hoping for some closure for his family after all these years. Anyone else looked into this angle or have info on similar cases in Costa Rica around that time?

Hey everyone, I've been diving into David Gerard Berger's case lately, and I have this lingering thought about the souvenir cap he always wore. That "Ross Reels" baseball cap might seem trivial at first, but I wonder if it holds any significance in identifying him either here or in Costa Rica. Could it have been something recognizable to friends, family, or even locals at the time? Maybe someone might have noticed it in photos or remembered seeing it around the time he vanished. It just seems like these little details can sometimes connect the dots in unexpected ways. Thoughts on whether it's worth looking deeper into this aspect?
