Hey everyone, been following the James Melvin Denney case for a bit now. Has anyone else looked into the details surrounding the Discovery Bridge and how crowded it might have been on February 22, 2008? I'm thinking about how no witnesses came forward despite the engine being left on. Seems odd that nobody saw anything or that it wasn't caught on camera, right? Was there maybe some road work or something that would have reduced traffic that day? I just can't wrap my head around the fact that a car could be left running on a bridge without attracting attention. Would love to hear what you all think about this part of the case!

Have any of you been following the James Melvin Denney case from St. Charles, Missouri? One detail that stands out to me is the fact that his vehicle was found with the engine still running. It's puzzling because it makes me wonder what his state of mind might have been when he stopped on the Discovery Bridge. Was leaving the engine on a sign of panic or urgency? Or was it just a random detail that doesn’t have any deeper meaning? In missing person cases, these small elements can sometimes lead to bigger clues, so it’s hard not to speculate. Also, is it possible that someone else stopped the car there, or maybe he had second thoughts about leaving? Would love to hear other theories or similar cases where this kind of detail played a role in solving the mystery.

I was reading about the James Melvin Denney case again, and the part that really intrigues me is his abandoned car on the Discovery Bridge. Why would someone leave the engine running? Was it a sign of urgency or just a distraction? It’s curious that the reports suggested he might have jumped, but there were no witnesses. I wonder if anyone checked the bridge's surveillance footage (if there was any) for any signs. It's been so many years, yet it feels like there are more questions than answers. Does anyone know if there have been similar cases in that area?
