Does anyone know what happened with the potential refiling of charges against Haywood? It’s so unsettling to think that someone was charged with such a serious crime and then released without trial. The fact that two pieces of evidence weren't tested for DNA is really bothering me. Wouldn’t that be one of the first steps in a case like this? I’m curious if there’s been any movement to get these tests done since the charges were dropped. Also, with Haywood driving a black SUV, the witness testimony seems like a key point. Can anyone verify if there was more testimony about what happened in Kersh’s apartment that day? It feels like there’s still so much that didn’t come out during the initial investigation.

Does anyone else find it strange how the black SUV wasn't thoroughly investigated at the time of Kersh's disappearance? The witness account mentioning a cry and a crash seems like a crucial moment that might have been overlooked. Given the initial focus on Haywood and his own SUV, did investigators look into other black SUVs owned by residents or visitors in the area around that time? Also, with the purse found so near to the car, I wonder if retracing the precise timeline of events that day could uncover anything more. Surely there must have been some CCTV footage in those areas? It frustrates me to think that key evidence may have been missed. What do you all think, is there something else in this aspect of the case that could be worth re-examining now?

It’s strange how there seemed to be so many loose ends in Kersh’s case, especially with the evidence like the DNA not being tested. I mean, in a case like this where a mother just vanishes, every detail matters, right? Does anyone know if there were ever any updates on those untested pieces of evidence? With the charges against Haywood being dropped, could those have potentially connected him to the crime? It's frustrating to think that critical evidence might be left unexamined. I really hope they haven't shelved this case completely and that they're still actively looking into every possible lead. Anyone else following this know if there have been recent developments with the DNA testing, or is this just one of those procedural limbos?
