Hey everyone, I was digging into the Shawn Ann Pasola case, and something odd struck me about the reports surrounding her disappearance. From what I've read, there's a large gap in the timeline between when she was last seen in Puyallup and the approximate time she would've had to travel to Deception Pass. Even though it's assumed she went straight there, this is not a short drive. It makes me wonder if anyone saw her along the way but didn't think to report it, or maybe she made a stop somewhere? What do you all think? Is anyone familiar with the area who might have more insight into possible routes she might have taken or spots she could've stopped by? It's always bothered me how these little pieces of info don’t get followed up on, so piecing this timeline together could be huge in understanding what really happened.
I came across Shawn Ann Pasola's case recently and have been ruminating on the role Deception Pass itself might play, not just as a location, but perhaps also in terms of psychological symbolism. I've read that areas like that can have a sort of magnetic pull for people in distress, which makes me wonder about any historical patterns associated with the bridge. Has anyone looked into whether there have been similar cases around that area? Could it be that certain locations draw people for specific reasons? It's just a theory, but I think understanding the "why" might be just as important as the "how" in cases like this. If anyone has insights or knows where to dig deeper into this, I'd appreciate the info.
Does anyone else find it odd that despite extensive searches, Shawn Ann Pasola’s body was never recovered? Deception Pass is known for its strong currents and turbulent waters, but usually, something is eventually found, right? I’m curious if there’s any chance she might have ended up somewhere else or if there’s another explanation entirely. It just seems puzzling how, after so many years, there hasn't been any concrete evidence to support the assumption that she jumped. Would love to hear others’ thoughts or theories on why nothing has ever been found.
