Hey everyone,
I recently came across the case of Leonid Kaplan, and there's one aspect that really stands out to me. He was apparently well-known in his neighborhood for jogging. I can't help but wonder if anyone might have seen something suspicious during his usual runs on Riverton Road? It's a residential area, so hopefully there might be someone who remembers a new face or unusual activity around that time.
Also, since he lived with his mother, I just keep thinking about how devastating this must be for her. Knowing he moved around the neighborhood so often, someone had to have seen something. It's so troubling that a familiar face in the community can be taken away with no answers.
If you remember anything or know someone who might have been in the area regularly, please consider reaching out to Crime Stoppers or the Columbus Police. I really do hope that Leonid's family gets the closure they deserve.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey all,
I've been thinking about the circumstances around Leonid Kaplan's tragic death, and something that's been bugging me is the location where he was found. Riverton Road isn't exactly a high-traffic area at 7:30 p.m., so I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether this was a random act or if someone specifically targeted him knowing he would likely be on his usual route. It's unsettling to think that someone might have been watching and waiting for the right moment.
Given that he was found on a front yard, did anyone in the neighborhood see or hear anything unusual that evening? Small details that might have seemed insignificant at the time could now be crucial. It would mean so much to his family, especially his mother, to get some answers. If you know anyone who might have seen something, please remind them that even minor details could help.
What do you all think? Is it more likely someone familiar with his routine, or just terrible luck?
Thanks for reading. Let's hope for some justice soon.
