Did anyone else hear about the witness who saw a suspicious car leaving the scene? I've seen a few comments on some other forums suggesting there was a dark sedan speeding away from the Platinum Lounge parking lot right after the shooting happened. Akron police have mentioned they're looking for leads, but I haven’t seen anything confirming if this car was ever identified. It's so frustrating to think that Leonte’s family is still waiting for answers seven years later. If anyone in the community knows anything, no matter how small it might seem, please speak up. This little bit of information could be what police need to finally make a breakthrough in the case. Sending all my thoughts to his kids—hoping justice is brought for their dad.
It's truly unsettling that after all this time, no one has come forward with solid information about what happened to Leonte Hobdy outside the Platinum Lounge. I can't imagine the pain and frustration his family must be going through, especially knowing that someone out there holds the key to solving this. I read somewhere that the bar was pretty busy that night, so surely someone saw or heard something that could help. It's a close-knit community in Akron, and I still have hope that somebody's conscience will lead them to speak up. Holding out hope for justice for Leonte and his family.
I can't stop thinking about the security measures, or lack thereof, that might have played a part in what happened to Leonte Hobdy. I mean, the Platinum Lounge was a known hotspot, and given the late hours, I wonder how much security was actually present at the time. Were there any cameras in the parking lot? Was there enough lighting? It's deeply concerning that someone could be shot and killed outside a known venue without there being substantial footage or eyewitness accounts to nail down what happened. My heart goes out to Leonte’s family, especially his kids. They deserve justice and peace of mind, and I hope anyone with even the smallest detail will come forward and talk to the police. Justice is long overdue.
