I've been following Jiovany Gomez's case since it first came to light, and something that really puzzles me is the presence of the three other men with him and his uncle when they disappeared. What was their relationship like? Were they close family friends, business partners, or something else? It's strange that they all vanished together without a trace. Given that Luis Hernandez made that call saying they'd return by evening, it almost seems like everything was going smoothly until it suddenly wasn’t. Could there have been any existing tensions or issues within the group that nobody else knew about? Maybe someone in San Marcos or Chicago has insights. If anyone has more information on these men or the nature of their trip beyond what's been publicly shared, it might help piece together what happened to them and especially to Jiovany. Just hoping for answers.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Jiovany Gomez and the three men who disappeared in 2010. I've been diving into some maps and trying to piece together potential routes they could have taken from San Marcos to Nuevo Laredo. It's a pretty straightforward drive down I-35, but what stood out to me was the few potential rest stops they could have taken. Does anyone know if any surveillance footage was reviewed from gas stations or rest areas along the way to see their Suburban? It's been years, but sometimes these places have archived footage. It might be a long shot, but any sightings or anomalies during that time could be crucial. What do you all think?
Has anyone else been following the disappearance of Jiovany Gomez and the group he was with? I find it really odd that they just vanished after crossing the border into Nuevo Laredo. It's such a busy area, and you'd think there would be more eyewitnesses or maybe some surveillance footage that could offer more clues.
I’m particularly curious about the vehicle they were driving—a 2003 green Chevrolet Suburban with Texas plates AD98575. Does anyone know how common that vehicle is in the area? Wondering if anyone interested in cars or border activity might've noticed it. Seems like locating the vehicle could be a key piece in unraveling what happened. Also, why cross into Mexico just for paperwork and a bit of shopping? There's gotta be more to this story. Would love to hear thoughts on this!
