Hi everyone, I've been following the Currier case for a while now, and there’s something I can’t shake off. With Israel Keyes’ detailed confession, I keep thinking about the abandoned farmhouse where he claimed to have taken them. Has anyone ever pinpointed exactly which farmhouse he's referring to? Given that Keyes traveled extensively and had such a chillingly systematic way of committing his crimes, it’s hard to believe there's no record of this location. Are there any locals from Essex, Vermont, on this forum who might have insights or remember any detail that could help identify this place? It's haunting to think there might still be lingering evidence somewhere.
Has anyone else been following the Currier case and noticed the bizarre detail about their car? It's always struck me as odd that it was found abandoned so close to their home. With Israel Keyes' confession and everything, it's chilling to think about how he might have used it as part of his twisted plan. Were there any signs of struggle in the car or clues left behind that might give further insights into what happened? It's been over a decade, and I still can't wrap my head around the absence of physical evidence despite Keyes’ confession. I hope someday we can learn more about their last moments or maybe find something that can finally bring closure to their loved ones. Does anyone have thoughts on this or heard anything new about the searches for their remains?
Has anyone else been following the Currier case details about the broken window in their garage? I’ve been curious about this since it came up early in the investigation. It seemed like a clear sign of forced entry, but I wonder if there was more to it. Did Keyes often use this method, or was there something specific about the Curriers' house that made it an easier target for him? It’s so chilling to think about how random and sudden it must have been for them. It's tough knowing that, despite his confessions, we might never get every detail of what happened that night. Would love to hear anyone else’s thoughts on how this fits into Keyes’ MO or if this was different from his other crimes.
