Was anyone aware that Nguyen's boat had a history of mechanical issues before this tragic event? I was reading some local news articles, and there was mention of a broken throttle found on the boat when it washed ashore. I'm wondering if there could have been some ongoing issues that might have led to the accident. It's odd that someone could fall out of a boat that easily unless something went wrong. If the throttle suddenly stopped working or caused unexpected movements, it might explain how he ended up in the water. It's frustrating that we might never know, but maybe someone on here has more insight?
