Bach Van Nguyen, 48, disappeared on June 26, 2011, while navigating Tomales Bay near Dillon Beach, California. He was aboard a 12-foot aluminum motorboat, ferrying family and friends between Lawson’s Landing and the tip of Tomales Point. After dropping off his passengers, Nguyen was seen returning to the beach when he fell out of the boat and was heard screaming for help. A woman nearby witnessed the incident through binoculars and immediately alerted authorities.
