Hey everyone, I recently came across Lavan Theodore Davis's case while reading about unsolved homicides in Ohio, and one thing that's been on my mind is the lack of leads and witnesses stepping forward. It's baffling to me how no one has spoken up yet. I can't stop thinking about the 27 minutes it took from when he was found until he passed away at the hospital—knowing there was still a chance at life within that timeframe just adds another layer of sadness to this tragedy. Living in a neighborhood that struggles with gun violence must be incredibly challenging, and I worry that perhaps witnesses are scared to come forward. If anyone here has ideas about how to foster a safe environment for people to share what they know, or ways to support his family in their pursuit of justice, I'd be grateful to hear them. We need to keep discussing cases like Lavan's and support his family in any way we can. They deserve answers and some measure of peace. Stay safe, everyone.
